Prestige Ameritech manufactures medical and industrial PPE, as well as wound and device irrigation products. We are the United States’ largest wholly-domestic surgical mask manufacturer.

Since its founding in 2005, Prestige Ameritech has built multi-year relationships with the most significant operators across the healthcare industry including healthcare systems, nationwide distributors, and large Group Purchasing Organizations. The company is a TERO Certified Native American-Owned business, as well as recognized as a State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business.

Prestige Ameritech is an FDA Registered Facility and is certified by the International Organization for Standardization (“ISO”) to design and manufacture medical devices in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 13485:2016 standard. Management maintains a Quality Management System which outlines the processes in place to monitor defects, returns, complaints, and other relevant quality metrics.

 

ProGear® Healthcare PPE
Prestige Ameritech produces over 30 types of surgical masks, N95 respirators, and facial protection products under the ProGear brand, which has been found in thousands of hospitals, physician offices, clinics, and senior living facilities across the United States since 2009. The company’s product quality, service reliability, and established domestic operating history results in ProGear being among the most recognizable names in the healthcare industry.

All of Prestige Ameritech’s ProGear PPE products are wholly made in the United States (i.e., based on the Berry Amendment [10 USC § 2533a], the products and all of their components are grown, reprocessed, reused, or produced in the United States) at the company’s Texas manufacturing facility. The company’s average relationship with its current top 10 domestic suppliers is greater than 13 years. Because of these long-term relationships, the company experienced relatively low supply chain disruptions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and none of Prestige Ameritech’s customers went without PPE during this critical time.

Anexa Biomedical Sterile Water and Sterile Saline

In January of 2023, Prestige Ameritech acquired Anexa Biomedical, and moved operations to its North Richland Hills, Texas facility. Anexa is a domestic manufacturer of sterile water and sterile saline products. In a typical facility, hundreds of units of sterile water and sterile saline are used daily. Given high demand historically, sterile water and sterile saline have been prone to shortages, rolling on and off the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s drug shortage list for more than five years. With these categories, we seek long-term, multi-year commitments that give us certainty and allow us to dedicate our resources to increase production to address shortages of critical supply items.

NORTH™ Industrial Respiratory Protection

On June 1, 2024, Prestige Ameritech became the sole licensee for Honeywell's NORTH™ Powered Air Purifying Respirators ‘PAPR’.

Honeywell partnered with Prestige Ameritech based on our strong customer satisfaction ratings, responsive production capabilities, attention to quality, and experience with respirators and face masks. Prestige Ameritech has extensive experience with respirators under the ProGear® brand. Additionally, Prestige will be moving all the kitting and production operations of PAPR to their manufacturing facility in Texas with the goal of serving the needs of the market with the same products and service Honeywell's customers have come to expect.
